LAWSOC objectives
LAWSOC's primary objectives are to represent the interests of law students and to enhance the student experience of law school, both academic and social.
The interests of UC law students are represented in various ways. The President and Academic Officer attend meetings of the Law Faculty. The President also meets with the University of Canterbury Students' Association. At a national level, the President and the Competitions Coordinators attend Council meetings of the New Zealand Law Students' Association (NZLSA).
Events and activities
LAWSOC organises and coordinates a number of functions and activities for members throughout the year.
