If you are a domestic student over the age of 20 and do not have University Entrance through another means (NCEA or equivalent), you can normally be admitted to the University with 20+ admission.
You are strongly encouraged to contact the Future Students before applying for 20+ admission to make sure it is the right choice for you.
Requirements
- You must be a citizen or hold a NZ Residence Class Visa of New Zealand or Australia, or be a citizen of the Cook Islands, Tokelau, or Niue.
- You must also be 20 years of age or older by the official course start date.
How to apply for 20+
Apply to enrol in myUC. Upload a copy of any documents showing study you have completed.
TIP: 20+ admission provides you admission to the University but not necessarily automatic admission to your preferred qualification or course. You are advised to check the admission criteria for your chosen qualification.
