Start times and entry information

The Examination Periods are two weeks in duration. Most examinations will start at 9.30am, 2.30pm, or 6:30pm. 

You may not enter an examination room later than 45 minutes after the start of the examination.

No alternative sitting will be available if you miss your exam or arrive 45 minutes or later after the official start time of your examination. An exception to this is if you have valid grounds as covered under the regulations for Special Consideration.

2024

Mid-Year Examination Period: Monday 10 June to Saturday 22 June inclusive.

End-of-Year Examination Period: Tuesday 29 October to Saturday 9 November inclusive. Monday 28 October is Labour Day public holiday.

Mid-Year Examination Information

The Mid-Year 2024 Preliminary exam timetable was emailed out on the night of 22nd March. This included the date, time, duration and format of your examinations.

The Examinations Office sent out your Mid-Year 2024 personal Final Personal Timetable email on the night of Friday 31 May.  For each exam, this also includes:

  • Venue/Room
  • Exam conditions

Final Examination Timetable (course order). Please ensure you check your personal exam timetable email for your assigned room and exam conditions.

On-campus examinations

Students are expected to be available to sit their exams on-campus (where specified), at the dates/times scheduled unless there are reasons outside of your control eg, students approved to study their whole semester from overseas. If your exam is scheduled on-campus, and you are unable to do so, you must contact the Examinations Office at least one month prior to the examination period.

Online invigilated/supervised on Zoom or using Respondus Lockdown Browser & Monitor

If you are using Respondus, you need to download this onto your computer and complete the Practice Quiz at least one week prior to your exam. If you are using Zoom, you need to download this onto your computer and ensure it is working at least one week prior to your exam.
