Programme Overview
In working with faculty, we provide wrap-around support from our team as well as experts in a focus area, alongside a flipped-learning approach. This offers immediate practical benefit, for both staff and students, through the enhancement of teaching and learning within a chosen course.
How Does Taipapaki Work?
Taipapaki begins with the identification of a course to be enhanced. Having a specific course in mind provides a focus for learning, and a context within which the learning can be implemented. When a faculty member is ready to begin Taipapaki, they contact the Blended Learning and Academic Development Team and we will provide them with access to the AKO|LEARN site that has been developed to support this process.
The Taipapaki AKO | LEARN site is where independent learning takes place, at a time that works for the faculty member. Once they are comfortable with the understanding they have gained from the resources provided, they can let our team know. We will then arrange a Practical Application session with them, to support them in implementing what they have learned in the course that they identified.
