What is the Challenge about?
The Ōtautahi 2025 Challenge is a two-day event in partnership with the Christchurch City Mission and the YMCA. You will work in teams to come up with a future-focused concept to present to a judging panel.
Throughout the Challenge, you will be guided by mentors, industry experts, and business experts so no previous experience is necessary.
Not only is there free food and transport from the University of Canterbury, but you will gain a breadth of skills including teamwork, critical analysis, quick thinking, and presentation. Not to mention the cash prize pool available!
Do I need a team in advance?
No, we will create the teams for you... All you need to do is apply and turn up!
Who should attend?
If you’re interested in the non-profit sector or social enterprise, or you want to boost your enterprise skills, this is the event for you! We supply you with all of the information and people you need to get the most out of the experience.
