It connects to the Canterbury Knowledge Commons, and is a practical example of UC’s institutional strategy of being an Engaged University.
This repository contains stories from our UC staff, students and alumni who have made a difference and have had and continue to have an impact in our region. The authors of these stories have written about their projects, who they worked with and why they feel the project is important to our city and region. These stories go beyond research examples, news stories or marketing materials to showcase the knowledge and expertise we have here at UC and our ability to foster partnerships with key leaders, communities, and influencers across the region to affect change at both personal and policy levels. It is our desire that these stories of impact can be an authentic representation of the eclectic mahi that is done by our diverse community at UC.
